In Solicchiata, a small hamlet of Castiglione di Sicilia, on the north side of Etna, there are the Cantine Patria, the farm and winery that has collected the ancient legacy of the old Torrepalino winery.

The particular geographical location with an altitude that reaches between 750 and 900 meters in its highest part, makes the territory the main element that differentiates it for typicality and uniqueness.

Due to exposure and altitude, the result is a late environment characterized by strong temperature ranges. Open to innovation and experimentation, the winery aims at excellence starting from the vineyards, whose monitoring is aimed at understanding their phenolic maturity and therefore the right harvest period.
